A full-height scaffold on a tower block in Slough for window and new cladding works, with a construction hoist running up one side.
The project
This tower block in Slough needed new windows and new cladding, which meant working on every floor of a high-rise, all the way up to the roof. On a building of this height, getting materials up safely matters as much as the working platforms themselves.
We scaffolded the tower from the ground to the roof, with a working lift at every floor so the window and cladding teams could reach every opening and panel. The scaffold is netted from top to bottom, keeping materials and debris contained at height, and a construction hoist runs up the side of the building beside it.
