Education and public sector
Scaffolding planned around the people on site
Schools, colleges and public buildings stay busy while work goes on around them. Pupils, students, staff and visitors all need safe routes past the scaffold, and the most disruptive work often has to fit into holidays or quieter hours. We have scaffolded a school building in Camberley and college buildings in Oxford, and our clients include Eton College, Shiplake College, Reading Borough Council and Slough Council. Every scaffold is planned around how the site is used, secured when the site is unattended and inspected throughout the hire.
Planned around term times
Installs and dismantles scheduled for holidays or quieter hours where the programme allows.
Secured when unattended
Access to the scaffold secured when work stops for the day.
Safe routes kept open
Entrances, walkways and fire exits kept clear for pupils, staff and visitors.
Public sector ready
CHAS, Constructionline Gold and SSIP accredited, with RAMS supplied before work starts.

Ask a questionCan you work during the school holidays?
Yes. We can schedule the erection and dismantling of the scaffold for holidays or quieter periods where your programme allows. Tell us your term dates when you enquire.
How do you keep pupils and staff safe around the scaffold?
We plan clear routes past the scaffold, keep entrances and fire exits open, and secure access to the scaffold when the site is unattended. The arrangements are set out in the method statement before work starts.
Can you meet public-sector procurement requirements?
We hold CHAS, Constructionline Gold and SSIP accreditations, our scaffolders carry CISRS cards, and we can supply insurance certificates, method statements and risk assessments on request.
Have you worked for schools and colleges before?
Yes. Our clients include Eton College, Shiplake College, an Oxford college, Reading Borough Council and Slough Council, and our projects include a school building in Camberley.
Is the scaffold inspected during the hire?
Yes. Scaffolds must be inspected by a competent person before first use, after any alteration or event such as high winds, and at least every seven days. We carry out these checks through the hire and keep the records up to date.
