Basingstoke scaffolders
Basingstoke grew quickly from the 1960s, and much of the town was built within a few decades: office blocks in the centre, estates such as Brighton Hill, Popley, Oakridge and South Ham, and newer neighbourhoods at Beggarwood, Hatch Warren and Chineham. Buildings of that age come up for new windows, recladding and re-roofing, and projects like that need scaffolding on a large scale.
For one multi-storey block in the town, we scaffolded the full length of the street elevation up to the roofline and round the corner, with a working lift at every floor for the cladding and window fitters and debris netting over the whole scaffold. It stood behind the boundary wall, leaving the pavement outside clear. Basingstoke is a straight run south from our yard, down the A33 from Reading, and we cover the whole town and the villages around it.

Hampshire County Council, as the highway authority, for any scaffold that stands on a pavement or road. A scaffold kept within the site boundary, as ours was on the Basingstoke block, leaves the pavement clear. We will check at the survey whether your site needs a licence.
Yes. For recladding and window replacement, every floor of the elevation needs safe access at once, so we scaffold the full length and height with a working lift at each floor, and enclose it in debris netting to contain dust and offcuts. We can supply the design, risk assessment and method statement for your principal contractor.
