Marlow scaffolders
Marlow is a Georgian market town on the Thames, with its suspension bridge, a high street of listed buildings and streets of period houses behind it. Scaffolding here has to suit the town: tidy, well protected, planned around busy pavements and narrow roads, and careful with old brickwork, render and roofs.
Our yard in Tidmarsh is a short drive away, via Reading and the A4155 along the river or the M4 and the A404, and we cover the whole town, from the centre to Marlow Bottom, Little Marlow and Bisham across the bridge. Our nearby projects include a netted office block in Maidenhead and a temporary roof in High Wycombe, and on Henley high street we kept the shops open beneath a netted scaffold.
Heritage scaffolding for Georgian and period buildings.
Shopfronts and pavements kept open beneath the scaffold.
Roofs, chimneys, render and redecoration.
Marlow, Bisham and the villages along the Thames.

Ask a questionYes. We cover the whole town, including Marlow Bottom and Little Marlow, and the villages along the river, from Medmenham to Bourne End, with Bisham and Hurley on the Berkshire side.
Buckinghamshire Council, for any scaffold on a pavement or road in Marlow. Bisham and Hurley, across the bridge, are in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, which licenses scaffolding there. No licence is needed for a scaffold kept within your own property, and we will tell you at the survey whether yours needs one.
Yes. Before any ties are fixed into a listed building, check with Buckinghamshire Council’s planning team, and we will gladly share the planned tie positions with them first. Over shopfronts, the first lift can be raised or carried on beams so the shop stays open and the pavement stays clear.
Yes. Period houses often have tall chimneys, bay windows, render and delicate roofs. We set the scaffold out around them, with platforms at every stack that needs work, and adapt it as the job progresses.
That depends on the size of the job and our programme at the time. Marlow is within easy reach of our yard, so surveys and deliveries are simple to arrange. Tell us when you need the scaffold and we will give you a realistic date.
