Beaconsfield scaffolders
Beaconsfield is really two towns. The Old Town grew up where four roads meet, with wide streets of historic coaching inns, shops and houses, many of them listed. The New Town grew up around the railway station in the 20th century, with large detached homes spreading out towards Knotty Green, Holtspur and Seer Green.
The two need different scaffolding. In the Old Town, scaffolds have to protect historic fabric and keep pavements and shopfronts open. In the New Town and beyond, most homes are large family houses, needing re-roofs, chimneys, extensions and loft conversions, often with a temporary roof while the roof is off. Our nearby projects include a temporary roof in High Wycombe and a netted office block in Maidenhead.

The house stays dry while the roof is off.

Only for a scaffold on the pavement or road, and in Beaconsfield that licence comes from Buckinghamshire Council. Scaffolds kept within your property, such as on a driveway, do not need one. Our survey will show whether your job does.
Yes. Many buildings in the Old Town are listed. Before any ties go into the historic fabric, check with Buckinghamshire Council’s planning team, and we will gladly share the planned tie positions with them first.
Yes. A temporary roof keeps your house dry while the old roof is stripped or a loft conversion is built, and lets the roofers keep working in wet weather. Each one is designed for the house and the length of the job, as ours was for a roof extension in High Wycombe.
