Guildford’s centre mixes old and new: the steep, cobbled High Street with its historic buildings, the castle and the river, and new developments on the sites around them. For a new hotel on a corner site in the town centre, we scaffolded the street elevations above the rising frame, netted to protect the pavements and roads below, and ran the scaffold around three sides of the courtyard at the back, with lattice beams bridging the openings while a mobile crane lifted in the courtyard itself.
Guildford is further from our yard in Tidmarsh than our Berkshire towns, so we plan surveys, deliveries and inspections around your programme.
